Arrowsmith Technology and Investment updates March 2019

Since our last Technology and Investment update in August 2018 there have been some exciting and innovative improvements made by Arrowsmith. There has been further investment to further increase capability, capacity and quality of service. Once again we thought it prudent to update our customers on our capability improvements.

Since January 1st 2017 Arrowsmith are part of the AS.G group with the added stability and financial backing this brings. Arrowsmith have grown to a turnover of £6.7m in 2018-2019 and will be close to £8m in 2019 -2020.

The Arrowsmith site can accommodate growth with further factory space and shift increase.

The investment  and improvements shown below are to ensure continued capability and capacity improvement. It will also contribute towards the Cost Down improvement programme presently underway and produce competitive production level pricing.

Employee skill level continues to rise – Training and upskilling has been a huge push in 2019. From Digitalisation to TPM. All areas of the company are transforming. We have Six sigma Black and Green belt training underway. Off site team leader course for 6 team Leaders.

The MTC have worked with the team on the Digitalisation assessment and subsequent improvements and training.
